One Solar Panel System, Zero Electric Bills

Bright Light Solar completed another successful solar panel installation for a residential customer in Alexandria, NH. The completion of this 7 Kw (Kilowatt) system has completely satisfied this customer’s electricity needs.

The completed system was installed using a ground mount. A steel frame is cemented into the ground. The frame is installed so that the solar panels will be facing the sunniest location on the property. Panels are attached to the top of the frame. The finished project at this location looked like this:

Ground mounted solar panels are a great option for those with open land. As mentioned in a previous post, those with large amounts of land or rooftop space can create a “solar farm.” A solar farm is when someone installs solar panels for the sole purpose of generating solar energy to return to the grid and earn rebates. Not only will the panels cover the host’s energy costs, the host can earn extra money with the excess solar energy it generates.

Here is what our customer had to say about the recent installation:

“We love our system and the crew was wonderful to work with. We have three referrals for you already."- Jenny T.

With the average electric bill in the state of New Hampshire in 2012 being $98.80, that can add up to some serious savings over time. (EIA, 2013) Bright Light Solar also ensured that this customer received as many rebates and tax incentives as possible to reduce total costs.
